St. Augustine has many outreach projects in which we partner with local agencies right here in the Aiken community.  You may choose to participate in a variety of ways from financial support, to "hands on" assistance, to donating items.  Working on an outreach project is a great way to establish new relationships - old and new!

      This Quarter we partner with:

Stand at the Crossroads Ministries

We are Stand at the Crossroads Ministries (SATCM), a Christian-based residence program created to help, encourage and give support to women coming out of brokenness or past destructive lifestyles who are committed to learning to live healthy, productive lifestyles. We believe that through this community of faith, we can show women that they are not alone anymore - they are valued and can become productive members of our community.

Located in Aiken, South Carolina, we offer a safe haven to single women at My Father's House and to women and their children at Crossroads Community.

Stand at the Crossroads Ministries grew out of the work of Deborah Lamb, who has a heart for young women in crisis and transformation. Since 2000, SATCM has provided a safe haven at the home known as My Father’s House to those who face a variety of challenges, from uncertain futures to destructive lifestyles.

Over the years, God has abundantly provided, through volunteers and area churches and donations of time, treasure and talents to allow the ministry's growth. In
2005 SATCM expanded its services to help women with substance abuse issues, achieving 501(c)3 non-profit status in 2007. In 2010, a nearby property was purchased and remodeled to become Crossroads Community, providing three apartments to house women and their children. My Father's House currently accommodates eight single women and a resident manager.
